Chinese ride-hailing group Shenma Zhuanche is so unhappy with its order from Tesla that it took out digital billboard ads in Times Square to demand a refund, Business Insider reports.

The company purchased 278 Teslas for its fleet, but claims more than 20% of the vehicles experienced electrical issues. Shenma Zhuanche executives claimed in a Weibo post Tesla and the company repeatedly negotiated, but that Tesla's "internal efficiency is low, resulting in unsatisfactory after-sales service, long processing time for complaints, and delays in solving vehicle problems."

Shenma Zhuanche also wrote that vehicle service took an average of 45 days, and cost the company about 6.5 million yuan ($965,000).

Shenma Zhuanche said it took inspiration from the movie Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing Missouri in order to get Tesla's attention.
