Questar Fueling Company opened a new CNG fueling station with public access in conjunction with Frito-Lay, after the delivery fleet put out a business proposal for Questar to build the station.

“We are pleased to be part of Frito-Lay’s goal to be the most fuel-efficient fleet on the country,” said Craig Wagstaff, executive vice president and COO of Questar Fueling. “Some of the nation’s largest fleet operators are transitioning to clean-burning natural gas and we’re committed to developing the CNG fueling infrastructure.”

The CNG station is located at 4243 Duncanville Road in Dallas near Interstate 20. The station has six high-speed fueling lanes for large trucks. It will also be available to the general public who drive CNG vehicles.

Questar’s third CNG station in Texas joins three dozen stations it owns and operates in the U.S. In the 12 months, Questar expects to open new stations along major transportation corridors in California, Connecticut, Nevada, Missouri, Ohio, Illinois and Georgia.
