Panel to Cover Diesel Passenger Vehicle Market

March 11, 2016

The Diesel Technology Forum will host a March 15 panel in New York City to discuss how government regulations will help or hinder the U.S. diesel market, and strategies automakers will employ to meet upcoming fuel economy standards.

Panelists Allen Schaeffer, executive director of the Diesel Technology Forum, and Alan Baum of Baum and Associates will use the latest data to provide the most current projections for the future of diesel passenger vehicles at the International Motor Press Association meeting, according to the group.

The panel will also cover the role of diesels in the passenger car sector and the pickup truck and SUV sectors.

Bill Howard, the vice president of the International Motor Press Association, will be the moderator for the panel. The panel, a lead-up to the 2016 New York International Auto show, will be held at the 3 West Club.
