FCA US Adds EGR to Pentastar V-6

FCA US has improved its Pentastar V-6 engine for the 2016 model year by increasing fuel economy by more than 6 percent and raising torque by more than 14.9 percent.

Calif. Awards 2,000th Alt-Fuel Truck Voucher

California has handed out 2,000 vouchers to fleets to fund hybrid and battery-electric zero-emission trucks and buses under a grant program overseen by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), the board has announced.

Utah University Unveils EV Chargers, Prius PHEVs

Utah Valley University (UVU) and the state Governor’s Office of Energy Development have unveiled two electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and two newly purchased Toyota Prius plug-in hybrid electric vehicles on the university's Orem campus, according to a UVU release.

PG&E Donates Plug-In Truck to Napa

Ore. Beverage Fleet Reduces Fuel Costs with Autogas

N.Y. County Approves Policy to Reach 5% Green Vehicles

The Ulster County, N.Y., legislature approved a green fleet policy on Aug. 18 that aims to reduce fleet greenhouse gas emissions and improve vehicle fuel efficiency. The county’s goal is to ensure that 5% of the fleet by 2020 are “green” vehicles.

Anheuser-Busch Converts St. Louis Fleet to CNG

Anheuser-Busch has replaced all 97 diesel-fueled tractors in its St. Louis fleet with new compressed natural gas (CNG)-fueled tractors, the brewing company announced. By transitioning to CNG technology, Anheuser-Busch expects to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 2,500 tons per year.
