City of Temple, Texas, Transitioning Fleet to Propane Autogas

The City of Temple, Texas, is converting 11 vehicles to operate on propane autogas. The City estimates each vehicle will emit 1,295 lbs. less of CO2 emissions compared to gasoline- and diesel-fueled vehicles, and displace 1,600 gallons of conventional fuels.

UG Transit Predicts 74% Fuel Savings with Propane Conversions

By the end of April, the Unified Government (UG) of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kan., will have converted 13 buses and two pickup trucks to propane fuel. The transit fleet expects these converted vehicles to cut annual fuel costs by at least $100,000.

North Carolina Sheriff to Save More Than $13K Annually with Propane Fleet

The County began switching vehicles to propane autogas in August 2011 and completed the conversions in February 2012.

The Buncombe County, N.C., Sheriff’s Office recently converted 10 Ford Crown Victoria models to propane autogas. The fleet expects to displace 20 tons of greenhouse gas emissions each year and save more than $13,000 annually on fuel cost savings.
