Tom Johnson, founder of 100 Best Fleets, died December 27. Johnson, age 76, passed away from complications from Lou Gehrig's disease, commonly known as ALS. A profile has been created on the ALS Association website for donations to the organization in Johnson's honor.

The NAFA Fleet Management Association released a statement on Johnson’s death, saying, “Tom tirelessly dedicated his time and effort in pursuit of the betterment of fleet and became an advisor to many and a friend to all in the industry. He will be greatly missed.”
