Based on Motiv's EPIC F-59 chassis, during the more 275,000 emission-free miles, the vans have saved Aramark more than $100,000 in fuel and maintenance costs, and are currently operating at a 99% uptime.
XL customers have driven 100 million miles using the company's hybrid and plug-in hybrid electric drive systems, according to the company, which is also celebrating its tenth anniversary this year.
XL has surpassed 60 million customer miles driven and achieved one of its largest deployments of electrified Class 2 to 6 truck technology in 2017. The company also announced the re-branding of the company to XL (from XL Hybrids).
As of October, Motiv-powered vehicles have driven more than 275,000 miles. In 2017 alone, they have covered more than 83,000 miles, saving nearly 300 barrels of oil from consumption.
