The City of Long Beach (Calif.) has begun testing whether it could assign gasoline-electric hybrids to police commanders as a strategy for lowering fuel costs in the police department.
The suggested retail price for the Ford Fusion Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid is expected to be reduced by nearly $1,000 for the 2016 model year, according to data from Ford.
