As sustainability trends continue picking up steam, biodiesel has helped for-hire carrier G&D Integrated meet environmental goals and win business.

Its fleet of several hundred vehicles travels millions of miles annually, and the diesel-powered units run year-round on a blend of 20 percent biodiesel and 80 percent petroleum diesel, which is known as B20.

The company says biodiesel usage is showing up in some RFPs and has been “directly related” to it winning bids — and also has made a material difference in reducing fleet emissions.

Read this Renewable Energy Group case study to find out more about the environmental and business advantages biodiesel has given G&D — not to mention cost savings and performance improvements — and see how your fleet could benefit from biodiesel too.
