Electrify Canada has opened its first electric vehicle charging station in Ontario, Canada, which is also its first in the country.

Electrify Canada also announced the availability of its mobile app, pricing structure, and tiered membership options that will now be available for Canada, according to the company. The latest offerings allow drivers to customize their driving experience to fit their public charging needs.

The charging station in Ontario is the first of a planned 32 charging stations. The charging stations will be located near major highways and in major metro areas in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec.

The company’s app is available on both Android and iPhone for EV charging customers who wish to enjoy the ease of starting and tracking a charging session from their smartphone. The Electrify Canada app allows users to locate a charger, pay for a charge, track charging, charging history, and more.

Electrify Canada offers two membership options with its app, the Electrify Canada Pass is for occasional usage, while the Electrify Canada Pass Plus is for frequent users and is available for $4 a month and allows users to save 20% on every minute spent charging.

Electrify Canada offers three power levels for pricing: 75kW, 125 kW, and 350 kW. Charging is priced by the minute and determined by the maximum charging capability the vehicle communicates to the charger, the province where the charging station is located, along with the driver’s membership status.
