The Chicago Clean Cities Coalition is hosting its eighth annual Green Drives Conference and Expo for professionals involved with commercial and government fleets who seek policies and projects that reduce petroleum use.

The Green Drives Conference and Expo allows attendees to network with experts throughout the nation and the region, and learn of first-hand experiences from fleets currently using alternative fuels and electric vehicles, according to release. The conference will be held on May 16 at the Northern Illinois University Conference Center in Naperville, Ill.

Highlights include a biodiesel breakout session by the B20 Club and Renewable Energy Group, and an alternative fuel and electric vehicle ride-and-drive. Speakers present at the conference include James C. Chen, Rivian's vice president of public policy; and Gary Salemme, Cummins director of advanced engineering technology projects.
