Car2go has expanded its electric car rental service to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol as a way to provide convenient and environmentally friendly transportation to customers.

The company's Amsterdam customers will have 24/7 access to 16 parking spaces and eight charging stations in the public parking garage of the World Trade Center at Schiphol.

Customers can either pick up or park car2go's electric fortwo cars at the parking hub, walking distance from the terminal.

“For us, Amsterdam is a very important and future-oriented market, “ Car2go CEO Olivier Reppert said in a statement. “It is one of our three fully electric operated locations and we are very happy to see how more and more people in Amsterdam are convinced of our sustainable and flexible carsharing service.”

Car2go now offers parking hubs at airports in 13 cities across Europe.
