Hyundai Motor America is recalling an estimated 10,156 2017 Hyundai loniq Hybrid vehicles because the Hydraulic Clutch Actuator (HCA) inner oil seal may leak and may cause oil to accumulate in the cap area.

With this scenario, there is the possibility of an electrical short, which can increase the chance of a fire.

To fix the problem, Hyundai will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the HCA caps for oil leaks and replace the HCA assembly if necessary at no cost to owners.

The recall begins on June 20. Customers can reach Hyundai customer service at (855) 371-9460.
