Hyundai has launched an electric carsharing service in Amsterdam. Throughout the city, 100 Hyundai Ioniq Electric vehicles will be available for rent for 25 cents per minute or 12 euros per hour.

Hyundai chose Amsterdam for its Ioniq Carsharing Project because Amsterdam has over 2,200 public charging stations. Additionally, Amsterdam is planning to be carbon dioxide neutral by 2025.

The Ioniq Electric gets 280 miles per charge and seats up to five people.
