FCA US is recalling 1,353 2017-model year Chrysler Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid Electric minivans because they’re at risk for stalling, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

These minivans have diodes in the power inverter module that may fail as a result of an overvoltage condition. “If the diodes fail, the vehicle will not move under its own power,” NHTSA said on its website. “A vehicle that suddenly cannot be driven increases the risk of a crash.”

FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) is still developing a remedy for the problem, but the recall is expected to begin July 24. Minivan owners can reach Chrysler customer service at (800) 853-1403. FCA’s number for this recall is T34.
