Volkswagen has announced pricing for its 2015 e-Golf, the automaker's first battery-electric vehicle offered in the U.S. market. The e-Golf SEL Premium will retail for $36,265, when it goes on sale in November.

The e-Golf will arrive with an electric motor that produces 115 hp and 199 lb.-ft. of torque paired with a one-speed transmission. The motor is powered by a 24.2-killowatt lithium-ion battery. The e-Golf offers a range of between 70 and 90 miles.

The e-Golf arrives with a 7.2-killowatt onboard charger that utilizes a DC fast charging system. It includes a variety of technological features, including LED highlights, a touchscreen with navigation system, satellite radio integration, and a rearview camera.
