The Acura ILX entry-level luxury sedan will no longer be available as a gasoline-electric hybrid starting with the 2015 model year.

Powertrain options for the ILX for 2015 will include a pair of four-cylinder engines including a 2.0-liter i-VTEC paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and a 2.4-liter i-VTEC paired with a six-speed automatic. The base option should achieve 35 miles per gallon highway, while the 2.4-liter option should get 31 mpg, according to Acura.

The hybrid model offered in 2014 will no longer be available.
