Altech-Eco Corporation, a Ford QVM gaseous fuel developer and installer, has announced it has reduced the price of its CNG bi-fuel and dedicated systems for both the 2013 Ford CNG F-250 and F-350 Super Duty pickup truck models and 2013 Ford CNG Transit Connects.

The 2013 Ford CNG Transit Connect 2.0L models reduced price is $6,200 installed with 8.9 GGE CNG tank and $7,599 installed with 17.8 GGE CNG tank.

The 2013 Ford CNG F-250 and F-350 Super Duty pickup truck models reduced price is $7,779 installed with 15.7 GGE CNG tank and $8,350 installed with 21.2 GGE CNG tank.

Altech-Eco was able to achieve a reduction in cost by optimizing its system and working with its suppliers, while maintaining excellent performance standards and quality measures.

The CNG dedicated system operates 100 percent on compressed natural gas (CNG) and the CNG Bi-Fuel system enables the vehicle to operate on either CNG or gasoline.

Altech-Eco’s integrated systems are designed in collaboration with a Ford approved QCM (Qualified Calibration Modifier) for real-fleet applications that deliver excellent horsepower, torque, and towing capacity while delivering ultimate load situations and performs in extreme cold or extreme heat, high or low altitudes, or any inclement weather condition, according to the manufacturer.

“We are reducing the price of our CNG systems to help stimulate the market and attract new customers that may not be able to afford CNG systems with current prices on the market today and we will continue to make cost reductions until it is affordable for everyone. CNG is good for America,” said Miles George, VP of Altech-Eco.
