BAF, a Clean Energy company, announced it has received approvals from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and California Air Resources Board (CARB) Executive Orders for its 2013 vehicle lineup.

"No other company — including the OEMs — produces a deeper CNG product line than BAF," said John Bacon, BAF president. "Not only do we have more vehicle platforms than anyone else, we also offer more choices and customizations within each platform."

BAF offers the first Ford F-250/F-350 pickup truck with an underbody tank package in the industry, providing drivers the use of the full truck bed — something fleets have long desired, according to BAF. The company continues to expand its R&D efforts and is working on adding Lincoln "black car" vehicles to its lineup to better serve limo markets.

BAF’s 2013 dedicated CNG vehicle lineup includes:

Transit Connect: EPA approval; CARB pending.

F-250/350: EPA & CARB approvals.

F-450/550/650: EPA & CARB approvals.

F-59: EPA & CARB approvals.

E-250/350: EPA & CARB approvals.

E-450/550: EPA & CARB approvals.

The 2013 bi-fuel CNG vehicle lineup includes:

Transit Connect: EPA.

F-250/350: EPA.

E-250/350: EPA.

Underbody Tank Package:

F-250/350: EPA & CARB approvals (dedicated CNG)

All BAF vehicles less than 10,000 lbs. GVW are crash-test worthy (FMVSS 303).

The company said 2013 vehicles for conversion should be ordered before the close of the order window of May/June, depending on vehicle platform.
