GARDEN GROVE, CA – Final Assembly, Inc., a move-management and office furniture sales and refurbishing company, has been awarded a grant in the amount of $100,000 from the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee (MSRC) for the purchase of four liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) powered trucks.
The grant award for four LPG medium heavy-duty trucks was made possible by the MSRC’s Near-Zero Emission Medium Duty and Medium-Heavy-Duty Vehicleprogram, which offers incentives for the purchase of medium and heavy-duty vehicles that have zero or near zero tailpipe emissions. The acquisition of the four alternative-fueled trucks are part of a larger plan at Final Assembly, Inc. to replace conventional-fueled vehicles with a wide range of near-zero emission vans and trucks.
Established in 1989, Final Assembly, Inc. is a leader in commercial move-management and office furniture sales, repair and refurbishment. Final Assembly, Inc. is dedicated to operating an environmentally responsible business by replacing conventional-fueled trucks with more energy-efficient, lower-emission vehicles.
The company has already purchased two propane autogas-powered vehicles, including one van and one 16 ft.-truck. The addition of four LPG trucks will continue the momentum to propel the fleet towards a near-zero emission operation.
