TORRANCE, CA –The 2012 Ford Fusion Hybrid and 2012 Toyota Prius were among the vehicles showing the most improved order-to-delivery times compared to last year, according to the results of Automotive Fleet’s 13th annual order-to-delivery (OTD) study.

Total OTD days for the Fusion Hybrid was 76 days (an improvement of 16 days compared to 2011), while the Prius came in at 93 days — 15 days quicker than last year.

The 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid had the fastest overall OTD time among the hybrid and electric models included in the study. However, despite its ranking among these types of vehicles, the Camry Hybrid actually took six days longer for delivery than the 2011 model.

Here’s how the other hybrid and electric vehicles fared:

Toyota Camry Hybrid: 61 days.

Ford Fusion Hybrid: 76 days.

Nissan LEAF: 81 days.

Chevrolet Volt: 82 days.

Toyota Prius: 93 days.
