ATLANTA Coca-Cola has added more than 750 hybrid-electric delivery trucks to its U.S. and Canadian fleet, representing about 10 percent of its overall North American Fleet. Funding assistance from the U.S. Department of Energy through the Clean Cities Atlanta Coalition helped with the acquisition of the trucks.

Coca-Cola’s fleet of hybrid-electric delivery trucks is the latest fleet to be featured as a Clean Cities Success Story on the MotorWeek program.

Produced by Maryland Public Television, the short segment aired on PBS stations nationwide Aug. 18. For show times in your area, check the MotorWeek (motorweek.org) and Discovery Channel (discoverychannel.com) websites.
