DETROIT Metro Cars, a Southeast Michigan ground transportation provider, was recently featured as a Clean Cities Success Story on the Maryland Public Television's MotorWeek program.

Metro Cars has been converting its vehicles to run on propane since 2007. In 2010, the company partnered with the Clean Energy Coalition and received a federal grant that helped to convert 108 vehicles and install propane fueling infrastructure in Grand Rapids.

The short segment first aired on PBS stations nationwide Feb. 18. It can also be viewed online via the Alternative Fuels and Advanced Vehicles Data Center (AFDC) website.
