SEATTLE – Fleet managers test-drove bi-fuel autogas vehicles and heard presentations outlining alt-fuel options during a Nov. 30 workshop at McKinstry Innovation Center in Seattle. EnterpriseSeattle and the Washington Clean Technology Alliance sponsored the event.

The bi-fuel autogas vehicles available for test-driving included a Dodge Charger, Ford Crown Victoria, Ford F-150 truck and a Ford Expedition.

Jeff Stewart, president of Blue Star Gas, gave a presentation on alternative-fuel options for fleets. He called propane autogas the “smartest alternative fuel for light- to medium-duty fleets because it’s clean-burning, affordable and made in America.”
