DALLAS - Automotive Resources International (ARI) moderated a panel entitled, "Coping with Environmental Compliance" at the 2011 Green Fleet Conference, October 4, in Grapevine, Texas.  Elisa Durand, Assistant Manager of Strategic Consulting, Environmental and Fuel Strategies at ARI, will lead the panelists in a discussion on environmental compliance and how to manage changing requirements and expectations.

The panel will include representatives from Anadarko Petroleum, the State of West Virginia, SCT Fleet Solutions and DIRECTV.  The interactive discussion will provide a firsthand perspective of the impact regulation change can have on fleets across a variety of industries. Topics include: compliance expectation drivers, challenges experienced and fleet compliance planning.

“Environmental compliance is a major concern for fleets around the world,” said Durand.  “We work closely with fleets of all sizes and have seen the varying levels of impact these mandates can have.  We hope the discussion can help reduce fleet managers’ anxiety and help them take the first step toward compliance.”

ARI has been an active participant at the Green Fleet Conference for four years.  Starting October 3, the 2011 Conference offers two full days of keynote presentations, workshops, seminars, and panel discussions personalized for fleet professionals that integrate an environmentally-friendly component into their operations.
