CONCORD, NC – A workshop aimed at educating fleet operators about the benefits of natural gas vehicles is scheduled for July 12, from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Concord, N.C., just north of Charlotte.
“The Compelling Case for Natural Gas Vehicles” will include discussion about the economic, environmental and national energy security market drivers that are coming together to create a growing market for CNG- and LNG-powered vehicles. Presentations will also address which fleet applications are best suited for natural gas vehicles, available options in light-, medium- and heavy-duty natural gas vehicles and the sales-service channels that support them; and fuel station options for fleets of all sizes.
Moreover, the workshop will detail available federal and state tax incentives and grants.
The event is co-hosted by the Clean Vehicle Education Foundation, Centralina Clean Fuels Coalition, Land of Sky Clean Vehicles Coalition, Triangle Clean Cities Coalition, Palmetto State Clean Fuels Coalition, North Carolina Solar Center at North Carolina State University and PSNC Energy.
