SACRAMENTO, CA - The Sacramento Metropolitan AQMD in cooperation with the Yolo-Solano AQMD and the Sacramento Clean Cities Coalition will host a workshop to present new clean diesel technologies on Friday, April 22, 11am - 3pm. This workshop will include Tier 4, 2010-compliant, and fuel-efficient equipment on display next to the historic farm tractors and trucks at the Heidrick Ag History Center in Woodland, Calif.

New clean diesel technology for on-road and off-road markets, including farm tractors, heavy-duty trucks, and construction equipment, use advanced particulate filters, catalytic converters, and diesel exhaust fluids to reduce pollution by more than 90 percent.

The Hays Antique Truck and Heidrick Antique Tractor Museums will be available to participants all day. Tier 4 off-road equipment, 2010-compliant on-road vehicles, and alternative fuel technology will be on display from major manufacturers.

Registration for this event is $5 and includes a free lunch and museum admission. Manufacturer representatives and government officials will be available to present the technology and how it will be used to improve Sacramento's air quality.
