KINGMAN, AZ - Mohave County is looking for bids for a company to remove and recycle scrap metal the County normally throws out. These include metal items from County public works departments such as fleet services, traffic control, and water works, according to The Daily News.

The collection bins for the recyclable metal will be located at fleet services and traffic control buildings.

Companies have until Jan. 12, 2011 to submit bids to the County procurement department.

The County began a recycling paper program in January 2008, recycling waste paper and cardboard from the administration building and from the public works building, according to the newspaper.
