SULLIVAN, IL - The E-K Petro Mart in Sullivan, Ill., has begun offering flex-fuel vehicle drivers their choice of three types of ethanol-blended fuel: E85, E55 and E30, Herald-Review.com reported.

The station, which has the area's first ethanol blender pumps, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and news conference on May 22. Jon England owns the station.

The station received a $20,000 grant to purchase the blender pumps, and the city of Sullivan assisted with other incentives for the project. The grant program is supported by the Corn Marketing Board, the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, and the American Lung Association. The program's goal is to install 20 similar pumps throughout Illinois.

The state of Illinois has 14 ethanol plants.
