The Government Fleet Expo & Conference (GFX) has announced its date and location for 2010. After surveying 2009 GFX attendees, exhibitors, speakers and sponsors, organizers picked the Austin Convention Center in Texas to host GFX 2010, June 21-23.
Rated one of the most technologically advanced convention centers in the country, and a leading destination in Green meetings, the Austin Convention Center is situated at a short distance from 5,500 downtown hotel rooms.
GFX 2009 was a tremendous success, with total attendance being up more than 38 percent over 2008. In addition, sold exhibit space increased more than 150 percent.
The 2010 conference is already looking very promising and will focus again on successful solutions to help fleet managers manage their government fleet in today's fast changing economy. GFX 2010 will start with the facility tour and networking reception on Monday, June 21, followed by educational sessions and a chance to walk the exhibit floor on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 22-23. 2010 attendees can book their hotel room at the Hilton Austin for a special conference rate of $115 per night (single occupancy.)
Individuals and organizations interested in speaking or presenting at GFX 2010 should submit a detailed abstract of their presentation to Adriana Michaels at 310-533-2476 or [email protected].
