MT. LAUREL, NJ – Automotive Resources International (ARI) announced the transformation of its driver communications Web site into the new ARI Driver insights.

This new and improved system enhances drivers' capabilities to send and receive information pertaining to themselves and/or their vehicles. Fleet managers can customize the system's dashboard to catch drivers' attention. For example, colorful charts and graphs benchmark each driver's fuel usage against like vehicles in the fleet. Alerts notify drivers of missing vital information, late odometer entries, pending vehicle registrations, open recalls, and more.

New external links take drivers to fuel station locators and fuel pricing maps. Web-based guides provided by the EPA, U.S. Department of Energy and the Alliance to Save Energy help drivers improve their vehicle's current gas mileage and consider "greener" choices.

ARI also introduced tools that will help fleets reduce driver risk and costs. Drivers can input information required for their employers to acquire Motor Vehicle Reports. Drivers can also input weekly or monthly hour meter or odometers readings if required. Telematics data identifies costly driver behaviors such as excessive idling, inappropriate acceleration, and others.

"These added features give drivers a full spectrum of resources," commented Dan O'Callahan, director, Client Information Systems. "The benefit to our fleet clients is greater influence over driver behavior and control of operating costs."

The original ARI Driver ACCESS system capabilities for inputting vehicle mileage, ordering new vehicles, checking order status, and completing assigned safety and policy training modules are now visually enhanced through the upgraded graphical interface and the customizable dashboard.
