OGDEN, UTAH — Edge Products has received certification from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for all of its Ford, Dodge, and GM products for gasoline-powered vehicles. The receipt of CARB Executive Orders for Edge’s Evolution gas-powered programmer line means the product complies with CARB standards to be 50-state emissions legal.

OEM vehicle manufacturers build their vehicles to meet existing CARB/EPA emission certification levels. To be emissions compliant, CARB requires aftermarket products to be tested to see how they affect the emissions on different vehicles. They check the emission levels (byproducts of combustion) for things such as total hydrocarbons (THC), carbon monoxide (CO), oxides of nitrogen (NOx), carbon dioxide (CO2), non-methane hydrocarbons (NM-HC), and also measure fuel economy (FE).

Where required, Edge has submitted all of their products for testing and is working diligently toward full product line compliance.

“We are committed to working with the CARB and EPA. We have submitted all of our products for testing and we look forward to certifying all of our product lines with them in the near future,” said Dave Martinez, President of Edge Products. “Our dealers and distributors can now sell these products with confidence, knowing they are now, or will soon become, 50-state emissions legal.”

Edge Products manufacturers a full line of plug-in modules, programmers, and in-cab controllers for all popular late-model domestic trucks and Jeeps. For more information, contact (888) 360-3343 or visit www.edgeproducts.com.
