Chula Vista Heavy-Duty Fleet Goes Green with Biodiesel Tank

The 12,000-gallon biodiesel tank was fully paid for by federal Energy Efficiency & Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) funds.

CHULA VISTA, CA - Using federal stimulus funds, the City of Chula Vista installed a 12,000-gallon biodiesel tank at its Public Works Corp Yard, used to fuel the City's 125 heavy-duty fleet vehicles that include fire engines, dump trucks, and excavators.

City of Greer Begins Natural Gas Vehicle Conversions

UPS Trademark Brown Delivery Trucks Go Green

ROUSH CleanTech Drives Propane Forward

ROUSH spent the past four years studying the market and talking with fleet managers across the country. The company projects that within 24 months it will sell 10,000 units or more per year. This is a combination of all of the Ford trucks, vans, and cutaways for which it offers propane conversion systems.
