Volkswagen's Passat TDI Sedan

Volkswagen's Passat TDI, which was first introduced for the 2012 model year, offers an affordable mid-size sedan with a 2.0L four-cylinder diesel engine with excellent fuel economy (an EPA-rated 40 mph highway) and a range of well over 600 miles from the more than 18-gallon tank. The 47 Southern California DISH propane autogas vans will serve customers in Los Angeles and northern Orange counties.

Satellite broadcaster DISH rolled out 47 service vans in Southern California converted by ROUSH CleanTech to run on propane autogas. 2013 Green Fleet Conference & Expo

The 2013 Green Fleet Conference & Expo welcomed more than 600 fleet managers and industry professionals in Phoenix, Oct. 1-2. Attendees saw three keynote speakers, a 70,000 sq.-ft. exhibit hall, an alternative-fuel ride and drive, as well as many educational sessions and networking opportunities.

When the 3.7L V-6 F-150 is equipped with a CNG/LPG engine package, it is capable of achieving more than 750 miles on one tank of gas, depending on the tank size selected. The Ford F-150 averages 23 mpg on the highway.

2014 Cadillac ELR Luxury Car

General Motors introduced its 2014-MY Cadillac ELR, an extended-range electric vehicle (similar to the Volt) slated to go on sale in early 2014. The vehicle features a 1.4L gasoline generator and electric motors for propulsion, and GM said the Cadillac ELR has an all-electric range of 35 miles.
