Kia Motors will begin selling its Soul EV battery-electric subcompact car in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Maryland after the automaker initially rolled it out in California.

Sales of the Soul EV began in California in late 2014. Kia began selling the vehicle in Georgia, Texas, Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii earlier this year.

Kia has picked 19 dealers in the four new states and will offer customers charging stations at those dealers. Sales will begin in these states in the fourth quarter.

Kia offers the Soul EV in two trim levels, including the Base and + (Plus) at $33,950 and $35,950 respectively. Prices don't including handling charges or rebates. Kia also offers the Soul EV with a lease price of $249 per month.
