Linde North America is expanding its retail hydrogen fueling infrastructure in California, following multiple orders of hydrogen fueling dispensers from Quantum Fuel Systems, the vendor announced.

Quantum plans to deliver the hydrogen dispensers to Linde by the fourth quarter.

Linde built its first hydrogen fueling station in West Sacramento at the end of 2014. Linde partnered with Ramos Oil Company, which houses the station at its facility. At the location, Ramos now offers gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, ethanol (E-85), methanol, and racing fuels.

"The hydrogen infrastructure is being built in key areas with multiple phases expected to follow," said Brian Olson, Quantum's president and CEO of Quantum. "There is a growing network of hydrogen stations supporting the new fuel cell electric vehicles coming to California from multiple OEMs.”
