Ford has reduced the suggested retail price for the Fusion Hybrid and Energi plug-in hybrid sedans by nearly $1,000 for the 2016 model year, according to data from the automaker.

The price decline has been applied to five models. Read on for a comparison between the 2015-MY and 2016-MY Fusion Hybrid and Energi models.

The S Hybrid starts at $25,675 for 2016, while the 2015 model started at $26,475. The SE Hybrid starts at $26,480 for 2016, while the 2015 model started at $27,280. The 2016 Titanium Hybrid starts at $31,430 while the 2015 model started at $32,170. The 2016 SE Energi starts at $33,900 while the 2015 model started at $34,700. The 2016 Titanium Energi starts at $35,730, while the 2015 model started at $36,500.

The Fusion Hybrid has an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 44 mpg city/41 mpg highway, while the Fusion Energi delivers 95 MPGe city/81 MPGe highway.
