Guests at nearly all of Caesars Entertainment’s resorts and casinos in northern and southern Nevada can now take advantage of no-cost electric vehicle charging through a partnership with NV Energy.
Caesars announced that a total of 48 charging ports have been installed in guest parking lots and valet areas at the Nevada locations and Harrah's Resort Southern California.
The Level 2 charging stations are on the ChargePoint network, which allows drivers to check for station and charger availability via mobile app, the Web and car navigation units. The ports can accommodate both hybrids and all-electric vehicles.
"We want to make it easy for our guests to continue their green habits while they stay and play at our resorts. Supporting the adoption of electrical vehicles is important to Caesars, and we are thrilled to make convenient charging another great amenity for our guests," said Eric Dominguez, corporate director of facilities, engineering and sustainable operations at Caesars Entertainment.
Caesars also has plans install charging units at Harrah’s locations in New Orleans, Philadelphia and Atlantic City, N.J., as well as the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Ind.
