Fleet management company (FMC) PHH Arval recently signed an agreement with VNG to help integrate light-duty natural gas vehicles into its operations.

VNG, a nationwide CNG fueling solution provider, co-locates compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling equipment within existing gasoline stations convenient to fleet routes at no cost to the fleet operator. VNG then takes responsibility for the ownership and operation of the CNG fueling facilities.

“Working with VNG positions us to provide enhanced alternative fuel solutions for our clients,” said Bob Sandler, vice president, Enterprise Consulting and Analytics, PHH Arval.

By targeting high-traffic areas of the fleets PHH Arval manages, the FMC will work with VNG to provide compressed natural gas fueling where it’s fleet has the highest need.

“Lack of station availability is often cited for not making the switch to CNG. That won’t be the reason anymore,” added Sandler.
