IdleBox, a new electronic, modular toolkit to help managers of light- and medium-duty fleets, helps Clean Cities Coalitions, a network of nearly 100 coalitions supporting the reduction of transportation-sector petroleum consumption, save money and support a cleaner environment. IdleBox includes a variety of tools — including fact sheets, signs, posters, stickers, idling calculators, an idling-regulation database, and technical information — to help manage idle reduction.

IdleBox was developed by Argonne National Laboratory, one of the DOE’s largest national laboratories for scientific and engineering research, for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities initiative. To learn more about how IdleBox can help you reduce fuel use and emissions, contact your local Clean Cities coordinator or e-mail [email protected].
