FORT COLLINS, CO – The City of Fort Collins, Colo., is the latest Clean Cities Success Story to be featured on the MotorWeek program. Thirty percent of the city’s nearly 2,000-vehicle fleet is powered by alternative fuels, with all 37 public transit buses run on either compressed natural gas or biodiesel.

The City of Fort Collins was one of the 40 Government Green Fleets recognized at the 2012 Green Fleet Conference in October. Tracy Oschsner, assistant operations services director for the City, was also recognized as one of Green Fleet’s 40 Sustainability All-Stars for 2012.

Produced by Maryland Public Television, the short segment aired on PBS stations nationwide Oct.13. For show times in your area, check the MotorWeek (motorweek.org) and Discovery Channel (discoverychannel.com) websites.
