HOUSTON – The Houston-Galveston Area Council Clean Cities/Clean Vehicles Program will be hosting the 2012 Clean Fleet Technologies Conference Nov. 15 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. 

Sessions will cover topics such as alt-fuel deployment in fleet applications and fuel-efficient driving practices.

Among the event speakers will be Kenneth Hoglund, director of fleet management for the City of Houston, and Mark Swackhamer, senior manager of fleet operations at Houston Independent School District.

Registration and breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m., with welcome remarks from Houston City Council Member at Oliver Pennington at 8:30 a.m. The conference will conclude with a networking reception at 3:45 p.m.
