LOS ANGELES -- CODA Holdings, a developer of all-electric vehicles and advanced battery systems, has appointed automotive veteran Dennis G. Dougherty the company’s senior vice president of operations.

“Dennis is a great addition to our CODA executive team,” said Phil Murtaugh, CEO of CODA Holdings. “As our senior vice president of operations, Dennis will bring key insights from his four decades of automotive experience to help us bring the CODA 2012 sedan and other future clean energy solutions to market.”

“I’m proud to be a part of the CODA team and to be at the forefront of a clean tech industry,” said Dougherty. “CODA’s comprehensive product offerings – from its all-electric CODA sedan, clean energy storage to its EV propulsion systems -- provide an exciting and unique approach for fossil fuel independence.”

Headquartered in Los Angeles, CODA Holdings is composed of three key business lines: CODA Automotive, CODA EV Propulsion Systems and CODA Energy. The first consumer product available will be a zero-emission four-door, five-passenger EV sedan with a full-size trunk.
