PALO ALTO, CA - Xatori has developed a new software application, PlugShare, that's designed to help iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users locate electric vehicle charging stations and outlets when they need one.
The free app, which taps a database of public charging stations, was developed to ease EV drivers' "range anxiety."
The application also functions as a "community-driven electric vehicle charging network that lets you share your outlet and connect with other EV enthusiasts," the company said.
