Broome County Tests 100 Percent Electric Car

BINGHAMTON, NY – Broome County officials are exploring the use of zero emission, 100 percent electric cars. The County has been researching alternative vehicles to reduce expenses and improve its fleet operations, according to County Executive Barbara Fiala.

County Deputy Commissioner of Public Works Michael Lynch said the county has been looking for ways to reduce fuel consumption.
