CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA – US Air Conditioning has started switching its delivery fleet from gasoline and diesel to natural gas. In 2005, the company began using natural gas in their parts delivery trucks, improving delivery times throughout the LA metro area. Since natural gas vehicles are allowed to drive in the car pool lanes, it made for quicker deliveries.

Last year, the company expanded the use of natural gas to its larger stakebed trucks. The company currently has 17 stake bed trucks operating on natural gas with a range of more than 300 miles on one tank.

Last year, the company finished the construction of their own CNG station that allows the company to refuel trucks overnight while being loaded for the next day’s deliveries.
