Ford has partnered with EVgo to offer three years of complimentary charging to California and Maryland customers who purchase or lease a 2016 Ford C-MAX Energi, according to the company.

Customers who purchase or lease the vehicle in either state between Oct. 1 and Oct. 1, 2016 will receive an EV 1-2-3 Charge registration packet in the mail.

EV 1-2-3 Charge will provide unlimited, complimentary charging sessions of four hours each at more than 500 EVgo and partner public stations in the U.S. The C-MAX Energi can be fully charged in approximately 2.5 hours with the 240-volt charging stations.

Beginning in December, Ford will release the MyFord Mobile app on both iOS and Android in an effort to make it easy for customers to locate the charge stations. The MyFord Mobile app and website are integrated with the SYNC 3 in-car communications and entertainment system.
