NHTSA Aims to Expand Seat Belt Warnings for All

Seat belts save lives and warning systems remind vehicle occupants to buckle up.

To reduce injuries and fatalities, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s newly proposed rule requires automotive manufacturers to outfit cars, trucks, most buses, and more with seat belt use warning systems for the right front passenger and rear seats.
