ECOtality to Present at Clean Energy Conference

SAN FRANCISCO - ECOtality Inc., a leader in clean electric transportation and storage technologies, will participate in the Goldman Sachs Fifth Annual Clean Energy Conference in New York on Nov. 10-11. Calif. Awards $9.6 million for EV, Alt-Fuel Projects

SACRAMENTO, CA - The California Energy Commission has approved eight grants to fund projects aimed at advancing the manufacture of electric vehicles and vehicle batteries, adding vehicle charging stations, and encouraging the use of biofuels. The grants leverage more than $9.6 million in state funding with $11.9 million in private funds.

Republic, Clean Energy Sign Biomethane Agreement

PHOENIX - Solid waste operator Republic Services has signed a renewable biomethane recovery agreement with Clean Energy Fuels Corp. to process and sell renewable natural gas recovered from Republic's Sauk Trail Hills Landfill site in Canton, Mich.
