CHICAGO - The City of Chicago plans to purchase 20 electric refuse trucks from Motiv Power Systems for $13.4 million. Each vehicle is a Class 8 truck with a range of 60 miles.
MIAMI – Since deploying its natural gas truck program in 2011, the vehicles have replaced approximately 923,000 gallons of diesel fuel with natural gas and reduced emissions by more than 2,300 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions.
